i have to suck it up and do this -- he can help me outta this and get a patent (started) & preprint
does he know about counterfactuals etc i dunno
but i gotta talk to him, thats my priority
access to $80k worth of GPUs & storage space for the data -> PERFECT all this comes together now
ok my bro just said how his thesis advisor operates is that he finds issues i would never think of and that i have to be able to HANDLE that well
SO I HAVE TO BE OVER PREPARED in those meetings etc.
ok this is the plan
hes retired -- so hes free
he has experience in filing cs patents
BUT
he is in to some armchair psychology which i HATE but if im over-prepared for the meetings he wont go into it i hope
doesnt matter, i have to move past his armchair psychology so i can hit my target
basically hes my temporary thesis advisor LOL
he's a nitpicker, thats his style of advising, like very serious nitpicking -- not personal but about the work, i dunno, its a diff style of advising & ive avoided him bc he does that at a very serious level, but it doesnt matter, its a temporary advising i need so i have to move past that he does that
